Reporting with Axon for SigmaPro

Axon is an extremely powerful email management module by OnyakTech for DotNetNuke. You can use Axon with SigmaPro to automate project reporting, daily To Do tasks, notifications of support tickets that need a reply and much more.  Adam Wallace from Evolve Global is using Axon to send daily project updates on data from SigmaPro.  Adam uses one main project to handle time and effort then another sub project to manage bugs and enhancements.  An additional two projects are used to manage actions and agenda which comes through on his weekly report (another Axon campaign).

Axons greatest feature is it's ability to schedule automated emails as well as generated dynamic email content at the time the email is sent.   Basically, you set the schedule for a new Axon Campaign, define the Template (the basic static look of your email) and any dynamic content you want inserted into the email.  Adam has created several stored procedures that collect data from SigmaPro and return data to several dynamic content tokens.  You can use stored procedures or SQL Statements.  When the email is executed, all of the data is collected and inserted into the email where the matching tokens were placed.
