| Knowledge Base The Knowledge Base in SigmaPro can be opened from the main menus, the primary toolbar and set as the only visible option in SigmaPro from Edit SigmaPro->User Interactions module menu option. The Knowledge Base is searchable, can be categorized, created as a stand alone article or posted from a comment from a Task in a SigmaPro Project.  | To create new Knowledge Base articles, you need edit access to the SigmaPro module or Knowledge Base permissions set by DotNetNuke Role in the Settings module menu option (shown on the left and below).  | If you have Edit rights to the module, you will see an additional area at the bottom of the Knowledge Base screen for adding/updating Knowledge Base articles. To post a task comment or all comments of the task to the Knowledge Base, you must be a Super User or a member of a Team assigned to the Project. You will see two options in the comment section of a task that allows you to post the comment to the Knowledge Base when you click to add the comment to the task.  | To create new categories: -
Type a name for your new category in the field provided under the Edit Categories title. -
Click Add Category  | To create new Knowledge Base Articles as a stand alone article: -
Enter a title for your new Knowledge Base Article into the Title field -
Select a Category to list the article under. If you do not want your new article listed under a specific category, select the "All Categories" option. -
Enter the content of your KB article into the Text/HTML editor -
Click the "Add Article" link (See image below)  Using Your Knowledge Base: - All users will see the View link next to each article title. Clicking this link will open the article for viewing.
- If you have Edit access to the Knowledge Base, you will see an Edit link that you can click to modify the article.
- To Search your KB, enter a keyword into the Search textbox and click the Search Link, all possible articles related to your search will be listed.
- To filter by category, select a category from the Category drop down list next to the search box.
To delete articles, open the article you want to delete and then click the Delete link located at the end of the article.  | Below is a sample of what Knowledge Base Article looks like:  |
